We just returned from the Hamptons, and I can’t wait to go again. It’s odd because I didn’t think I’d want to spend the summer there, but after a year at home, I didn’t know how much I, and we all, needed a change of scenery, and I forgot how much I enjoy it out there.

We used to go out every summer, but I was pregnant with Charlotte at the time, and then the pandemic struck, and we hadn’t been out in a couple of years, and I missed it. Of course, we’ve caught the bug and want to come back for a longer stay this summer. While I’m looking at postings, I’m picturing all the gorgeous Hamptons clothing I’d pack in the hopes of manifesting a place for us to stay. Isn’t that how the whole manifesting process works? (Isn’t it like fashion math?) I’ve put together a guide on what to wear in the Hamptons for summer 2021 whether you’re lucky enough to be spending your summer out East or attempting to get a last-minute rental like us.

When you’re at the beach, I believe you should feel free to let your hair down a little. The trick is to be relaxed and uncomplicated. Cutoff shorts with a striped tee, or a swimsuit with a lovely cover-up or beach dress thrown over, are my go-to outfits. With being said, it’s summer 2021, and we’ve all been stuck inside for over a year, so there’s plenty to do – parties, bbqs, pool parties, and restaurants to visit. As a result, I always bring gorgeous outfits that I can combine with my beloved white sneakers during the day and comfortable sandals or wedges at night. Dresses are my favorite since they are comfortable and easy to put on, which is about all the effort I want to put into getting dressed when we’re at the beach.
